Space
The space should have openness on at least two sides and should not be positioned close to heat sources like stoves. The ceiling height should be a minimum of 3 meters above the floor.
Save Cost
Prepare and adjust the working area to align with the sheet usage, minimizing leftover scraps that could impact costs. For instance, for an awning roof extension of 1 meter, 1.5 meters, 2 meters, or 2.5 meters, choose dimensions that maximize sheet utilization.
Stain
Rinse off dust using a water hose. For cleaning, use a gentle sponge or soft cloth moistened with water and a dishwashing liquid mixture. Avoid using glass cleaner and thinner.
Slope
The minimum slope requirement should be at least 5 degrees.
Screw
Begin with a pilot drill, and then use a router bit to create holes. Ensure the screw is perfectly centered in the drilled spot.
(Use a 12.4 mm router bit head.) Do not use direct flatbed screws in any situation.
Structure
Prepare the structure right with the correct measurements. Keep the batten spacing as per each model. Rafters shouldn’t be more than 1.392 meters apart. For roof dimensions over 6 meters, use a ladder-like structure using
appropriate steel size.
Space Gap
Leave a 12-14 mm. gap between the sheets to accommodate expansion and contraction due to sunlight exposure. Maintain a gap of no more than 10 cm.
